The PTO Thrift Shop has closed its doors permanently.

Many thanks to all who donated, shopped, and volunteered over the past 4 1/2 years. You made the success of the Thrift Shop possible.

Please visit The Little Fox - the new children's re-sale shop that has opened upstairs at the Fox Library. The store is open on Wednesdays from 2 - 8pm.

WE'VE BEEN NAMED #1 IN WOMEN'S FASHIONS/VINTAGE & RESALE

The PTO Thrift Shop has been named the Boston area’s best vintage and resale store for women’s clothing in the 2006 A-List competition, an on-line contest conducted by local television station CBS4 that let consumers vote for their favorite businesses in 100 categories. Many thanks to our loyal customers for making us #1!

FUNDRAISING UPDATE:
On Monday, May 19, 2008, the PTO Thrift Shop distributed $9,000 to Arlington’s nine public schools, with each school receiving $1,000. This brings to over $130,000 the total amount distributed to the schools since the shop opened for business in 2004.

Gift Certificates
The Thrift Shop is one of the more than 80 Arlington businesses participating in Shop Arlington First (SA1st), a gift certificate program promoting local commerce. The gift certificates are sold in denominations of $10, $25, and $50 and can be purchased at the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, Leader Bank branches in East Arlington and Arlington Center, and Wanamaker Hardware in Arlington Heights. The gift certificates can be redeemed at the Thrift Shop or at any of the other participating businesses.
